Big ideas from small mouths

Emphatic solutions were proposed by six children in the session, Children solutions session! Let’s talk about water, held on 15th March. 

“Good preparation and knowledge will decrease disaster victims!” 

“Let’s enjoy hands-on activities together!” 

“Cleaning riverbanks, reducing trash and research of wildlife are the key to raise awareness of living with aquatic life!” 

“Making opportunities will lead to local actions!” 

“Generating interest and spreading information to the public are necessary to keep our water culture alive!” 

The dynamic team of six was selected from the Children’s WWF Follow-Up held in Tokyo in August 2011 and organised by the Foundation of River & Watershed Environment Management in Japan.
